  1. Silver

This is my 3rd AE kayak (Lagoon 2 and Advanced Frame before). First off, this is an excellent kayak for certain types of paddling. Let’s get the cons out of the way first so we can end with the positives:

Two normal size adults are not fitting in this. Luckily for me I am not a normal size adult so nobody is trying to wedge into this boat with me. Adult and small child, two teenagers, adult and dog, fine, no problems but if this is for you average size human being and your over 5’3 kayaking partner, not the boat for you.

  2. Yuri

We wanted an easily transportable boating option, but also wanted a quality watercraft, lightweight but good quality without breaking the bank. This kayak really fit the bill. I did not want to go to the expense of a roof rack system, and rigid kayak

  3. Gervims

EXCELLENT QUALITY AND FUNCTIONALITY. VERY, VERY COMFORTABLE.

  4. Passenger

Excellent kayak. First time owning and felt very stable. Material is strong yet easy to inflate. Approx 10 mins from taking out the bag.

  5. Umber

Very impressed with this Kayak. Appears to be made of quality materials (time will tell). Very easy to prepare and pack up. Just about 10 minutes each way. Very easy to get into and out of. Stable in the water. A little tight for two large paddlers – both of us are over 6 feet! Tracks well with the fin in, not good without.

  6. Love

Easy to transport in the car, easy to inflate, very stable, even my wife loves it.

  7. creg

Great product! Has high quality build. Tested in the sea! Very well balanced.

  8. Mandy

We wanted an easily transportable boating option, but also wanted a quality watercraft, lightweight but good quality without breaking the bank. This kayak really fit the bill. I did not want to go to the expense of a roof rack system, and rigid kayak. I wasn’t sure my wife would enjoy boating like this; she had never been in a kayak. I went ahead and ordered two oars/pump. I would recommend those. The pump really gets it inflated quickly. Make sure you read the instructions about inflating, but it’s not complicated. I let it sit in our hallway for a week; no air loss. We took it camping a week later, and it was a big hit with my wife. I left it inflated for four days straight, with no air loss.

  9. Clinical

Very niice, good qualiy, good service
    I recommend

  10. David

I did a lot of research and read all of the reviews for The Challenger one-man and two-man, as well as the Explorer 2-man. Watched a bunch of YouTube videos, too. My biggest concerns were weight (can I carry it myself?) and comfort (l have long legs — my jeans are a 36″ inseam).

I initially decided on the Explorer 2-man since it would :
    (1) give me more legroom than the Challenger one-man
    (2) it was significantly lighter than the Challenger two man. R

  11. Emerine

Relatively light and packs tighter and smaller compared to the similar Decathlon ones but comes at a price of being far less durable. Already got a puncture after scraping on some rocks but nothing a slap of gorilla tape would not handle.

  12. Pascal

Stable, practical, and only takes a few minutes to inflate. Really satisfied!
